The Miami Area Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit business organization. A chamber of commerce is designed to unite businesses and professional men and women together for the purpose of promoting civic and commercial progress to build a better community. Most importantly, the chamber represents the people who realize they can collectively accomplish more than one can do individually.The Mission of the Chamber:
To take a leadership role on behalf of our members and the business community on matters of economic, educational, social, cultural and government concerns. To develop, implement and review selective programs of action which identify issues, provide support and foster community pride, recognition and reinvestment.
With your investment, the Miami Area Chamber of Commerce will……
o Act as a spokesperson for the business community and individuals working together to make Miami a better place to live, work and play.
o Serve as a voice on public issues and monitor issues of concern.
o Partner with specific entities to promote tourism, economic and residential growth in the Miami area.
o Be a rallying point and central organization to promote projects that benefit all aspects of the Miami area.
o Serve as a source for information and business assistance.
o Partner with area organizations, businesses and associations to collectively achieve goals that will assure Miami in reaching its full potential as a community.
o Provide a professional staff to represent your business and the Miami area.
o Offer a cost-saving group insurance program and other services/benefits to Chamber members only.
